What or where do i have to go to clear my criminal record? Detained at LAX.?

I had a small fight with my wife about three years ago. Things got out of hand and she told the cops that i had hit her. So they took me in the station but upon further investigation they found out that i dod not hit het so they released me.Now i took a trip to mexico and when i was coming back I got detained at customs. They argued that i had been arrested and they needed to check my record. After three hours i was told I was ok and was released. However when I asked how to fix this they said that there is no fixing, I will get detained everysingle time I come home from an international trip. I know there has got to be a solution please help me find itWhat or where do i have to go to clear my criminal record? Detained at LAX.?
Well I am sure there is more to your story then we have here. I don't know if you were actually arrested, or fingerprinted, or what.

Bottom line is this. If you were placed into the system then your info will never leave that system and it will show when they check.

If you want to fix this then sue them since they accused you of being arrested and you claim this is not true and were held for wrongful reasons.

No one can just say ';you have been arrested so we need to check you out'; without having a reason.

If I were you I would go to whatever police agency dealt with you that day and tell them what happened and have then run you through the computer to see what pops up.What or where do i have to go to clear my criminal record? Detained at LAX.?
The thing of it is, if they arrested you for domestic and in that same night found that you did nothing wrong, then obviously charges would not be filed and it would not be on your criminal record. I went through this with my ex last year. He was arrested for a DD, taken in and released that same night with no charges ever filed nor is it on his record to this day. So either someone made an error on your record or you were actually charged with something thus making it permanent on your record.
This question is really more for the legal forum. As far as I know, you cannot remove an arrest record from your profile.
