If im 17 years old and was caught shoplifting , will it clear off my record once im 18?

yesterday i was caught shoplifting for the first time at a store. the cops were involved and i had to go to the police station. they checked if it was my first thing on my record or not, and it was the first. now i have to go to court on a day thats 3 months before i turn 18. its also a misdemeanor because its my first time. the stuff i got caught with were worth $133.


what do u think will happen at court?


and will it clear off my record once im 18??

This is your first offense so you will just get probation for probably a year. After that since your are a minor your record is sealed and you don't have to tell your prospective employers or even the military that you got arrested.





I hope you learn a lesson because if you get popped when you are 18 you most likely will spend some time in jail. I promise you it's not fun.
