How can I clear an eviction off my record?

You can't. Just have a good explanation, don't get evicted again, and be ready to pay a big deposit anywhere else you go.How can I clear an eviction off my record?
The point of havinga record is to see how yo have managed your credit/life... so don't count on having it removed... but plan on beign asked for hefty deposits wherever you plan on going..How can I clear an eviction off my record?
Evictions remain on your record for 5 to 7 years depending on the state in which you live. It is not a criminal matter, therefore cannot be expunged.
You cannot get an eviction cleared off of your record. However, if it was due to non-payment of rent...you could pay the amount due, get a receipt and show that when you apply.

It looks alot better.
you can get it off.... simply just write a letter to the credit bureau's that have it on there... ie transunion and they will contact the landlord of the apt. or house... via letter.... then those people have thirty days to respond. if they do not respond within thirty days it comes off your credit... also you can dispute anything as many times as you want.... they will expect you to have an explaination..Medical, repos, foreclosures, child support, p and l's anything that is inaccurate on you credit report, you can dispute... Good Luck...
