You can take a defensive driving course ';it now comes available on as a dvd as well in which you can rent it at the big movie chains';, a lot of courts will allow a defer judification as well ';this is like a probation to avoid any other tickets during this time in most cases it is 90-120 days probation';. Whatever you do, don't pay double without at least talking to the court. Call the court and ask what your options are if any.
