Can i clear a speeding ticket off my record in illinois for doing 82 in A 55?

i live in texas and my record is terrible i cant afford for this ticket to go on my recordCan i clear a speeding ticket off my record in illinois for doing 82 in A 55?
My husband got charged with reckless driving after doing 84 in a 55. He was advised to hire a lawyer, which he did, even though it was a misdemeanor charge. The lawyer got it reduced to speeding, and he had to pay a much smaller fine. Far fewer points on his record too. But of course, lawyers cost money, so in the end, he ended up paying the same amount. But the advantage was the reduction in points on his record. I have heard some cases in which the lawyer can get the charge dismissed entirely. So, this might be a good route for you.Can i clear a speeding ticket off my record in illinois for doing 82 in A 55?
Show up on your court date, tell the judge you're sorry, and pray for a reduction in the charge. I'm assuming they slapped you with ';reckless driving'; for doing 27 over the speed limit. If you actually show up for your court date, you may need to go do some penance (service or school), but the charge may be reduced to mere ';speeding';.
There appears to be a lot of info on the ';Net about this. Here's one: http://www.tipmra.com/ In my opinion, however, the best way to solve your problem would be for you to SLOW YOUR ROLL! Sooner or later, your speeding will end up with you or someone else getting seriously hurt.
