I live in Cartersville, GA. how long does it take to get my criminal record cleared?

Because I was charged with 10 counts of forgery but this is my very FIRST time EVER to get in trouble and I'm a full time straight A's college student and just made a terrible mistake and has learned from it so muchI live in Cartersville, GA. how long does it take to get my criminal record cleared?
Talk to the county clerk's office.

Soounds like felony territory; might not be able to get it expungedI live in Cartersville, GA. how long does it take to get my criminal record cleared?
GA does not expunge felony convictions at present. If your arrest did not result in a conviction then you may be able to apply to have the arrest record expunged.

If you were convicted of a felony in GA, your only hope is to apply for a pardon. For this, you must finish serving your sentence and wait five years to apply. During that five years, you cannot have committed any crimes. You cannot have any unpaid fines or have other charges awaiting against you. You can get the application from the Parole Board.
A long time probably a few years.
