How do i get my recorded vocals to have no static sound and more clearer?

i have a eurorack 6 channel mix board and a shure mic. i am using fruity loops XXL 8 as my recording software and it works but i can not or well do not know how to get rid of the grainy, static, echo all of that i want the vocal to sound just like he says it and not have any side noises i have a soundproof booth and solid conections on everything i just dont know yet how to get the vocals to sound good any body can help be great thank youHow do i get my recorded vocals to have no static sound and more clearer?
If the audio sounds ';staticky'; that tells me the mic gain is too high and the audio is peaking when it is recorded. Turn the gain settings down on the Eurorack - both on the channel the mic is plugged into and the main gain out. Fruityloops should have a ';VU meter'; that shows the mic levels coming in - you do not want to be peaking or in the red... around 1/2 - 3/4 up on the meter - occasional peaks are typically OK - but none is better.

  • How do i get my felony records from 21 years ago cleared in mississippi?

write the court in mississippi and ask the judge over the case. if you have nothing else on your records they normally will do it.How do i get my felony records from 21 years ago cleared in mississippi?
Ask the attorney general in your state. They should be able to help.

My friend thinks his criminal record can be cleared is that true?

My former Friend wants to become a Mall cop but in the past he got caught shoplifting from Sears. He was 18 at the time when he got caught and under went a trial and everything. He pled guilty and was convicted.

It was his first offence. He told me his Criminal record of theft would be cleared soon but i highly doubt it. It will stay on his record for life right? and he won't be allowed to be a mall cop right? My friend thinks his criminal record can be cleared is that true?
He could petition the court to get the record of his conviction expunged. Most states allow a person to request an expungement after they have completed all the terms of their sentence, including any probation.

When a record is expunged, it is basically sealed and removed from the public record. Any employer (including mall security) doing a background check will not see the conviction. If your friend is asked if he has been convicted of a crime, he can answer ';no'; (at least as this crime is concerned). The exception would be if he is applying for law enforcement or a job that requires a government security clearance. In that case, he needs to disclose the conviction, though he can add that it was expunged.

Nothing is ever 100% completely removed from a criminal record. His restricted record will still show the conviction (with expungement). If he commits a crime in the future, a court can still count the expunged conviction as a prior conviction that may affect his sentencing on the new charge. My friend thinks his criminal record can be cleared is that true?
Yes since he was charged as an adult he won't be getting it off his record and he won't be allowed to be a mall cop either. Unless the mall is really bad at doing background checks.
He can get it expunged or pardoned, but it never just 'goes off' your record.
Expunged is the word youre looking for.
Hey, aren't you the money I could be saving by switching car insurance?

Hi i have cassette tapes that i want to digital record on my lap top is there a way i make it sound clearer?

i have recorded a few and it is very fuzzy or lots of static how do i record it and have it sound clearerHi i have cassette tapes that i want to digital record on my lap top is there a way i make it sound clearer?
First point is that if you have used the microphone input on your laptop, it will probably be recording in mono - unless you are using a MAC, get a USB interface with a stereo input:

    http://www.cassette2cd.co.uk/DIY/accesso鈥?/a>

A step-by-step guide for cassette to CD conversion is available at:

    http://www.cassette2cd.co.uk/DIY/index.p鈥?/a>

(follow the link to 鈥楥assette to CD鈥?

The recording software is the key, there are some free software downloads available at:

    http://www.cassette2cd.co.uk/downloads.p鈥?/a>

I have used 鈥楳agix Audio Cleaning Lab鈥?and 鈥楢udacity鈥?鈥?Audacity is particularly popular since it is free!

If you record to WAV format, expect file sizes of around 10MB per minute, or 1MB per minute for MP3 (at 128kbps).

Once you have your digital versions of the recording on your PC, simply burn them on to a CD (Nero burning software or similar..). If you use Magix Audio Cleaning, the software will burn an audio CD for you without needing additional software (assuming you have a CD writing drive of course!)

You will need the additional 'lame_enc.dll' file to export into MP3 - this can also be downloaded from the free software page.

You can also download a free PDF version of the step-by鈥搒tep guide from the download page mentioned above, the guide is complete with diagrams and screen-shots.

Hope this helps (if you like the online guide, don't forget to 'DIGG' it....)

You can use some of the audio cleaning techniques in the software to identify the frequencies of the interference and equalise them.Hi i have cassette tapes that i want to digital record on my lap top is there a way i make it sound clearer?
    Audacity.
You will need to download an audio editor and use that to clean it up. A good one is Audacity. It can be downloaded here http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

My husband got busted almost 3 years ago for drug charges but it was cleared from record, can he get a passport

all he had to do was promise he wouldnt do it again, 1st offense, and goto a class. My husband got busted almost 3 years ago for drug charges but it was cleared from record, can he get a passport
Yes. If you are talking about a US passport then obviously he is a US citizen and having a passport is one such privileges as a citizen. Go down to your local post office and and they would direct you where he can apply for his passport. There are designated post offices that process passport applications.

Tell your husband to behave a good boy now and not to repeat his mistake :)

Good luck and God Bless. My husband got busted almost 3 years ago for drug charges but it was cleared from record, can he get a passport
What does ';cleared'; mean? Was the record expunged? Was he never convicted? Was there a plea in abeyance (the judgement and sentence are held in abeyance pending another offense, or cleared if no further offences occur)?

If his record was expunged or he was never convicted, the answer is yes he can. If there was a plea in abeyance and he met the terms, yes he can.

But if he is a convicted felon, you'll have to check with his parole officer.
im sure he can...no harm in trying
i think he should be able to but check with the judge just in case

When can I expect my online criminal record to be cleared?

I had two criminal charges against me that were unfounded. One was dropped and the other was dismissed. I am on the verge of getting a really good job now but I am afraid because the online county record still pulls up my charges. Even though I have been adjudicated clean of both charges, I don't like that they still show up on the online Dallas County search! http://www.dallascounty.org/pars2/# This is the website where it pulls up. This could ruin my chances! :( On Jan. 15, the judge signed off on everything. How long before it is taken down from the online search? When can I expect my online criminal record to be cleared?
I was trying to get something off of my record, and it all depends on the charge. Call your local DISTRICT ATTORNEY. I live in Houston, so Im sure it all goes the same way in Dallas. You need to first know if your charges can even be removed at all. Mine cant, but when I was on probation he told me I could get it removed. Don't pay those companies $300-$500 to do it. Its not hard if you have time to do it. First step is calling your local District Attorney. When can I expect my online criminal record to be cleared?
I am not sure how Texas runs it, but Arizona will not remove arrests or convictions from your record. It stays forever. It will show, as the case was dismissed or you were acquitted, but the record of the arrest is there forever. If you lied on your application and stated you had never been arrested, then you will likely be found at and terminated.

  • Is there a way to get a doctor to clear a mental disorder from my medical records?

I am 17 years old, and last year i was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder. I was never depressed i was just looking for attention ( yea, childish I know). I want to join the military, but according to the standards I can't if I have any ';current'; depression illnesses. I was wondering if there were anyway to be cleared from this diagnoses or if i can get it removed from my medical records, or anything that will help me be one step closer to qualifying for the military. Is there a way to get a doctor to clear a mental disorder from my medical records?

On clearing my loft I found a black disc with a hole in it, is this a record?

There loads more, where that came from you have been warned !On clearing my loft I found a black disc with a hole in it, is this a record?
Hee hee :o) Them were the days!!On clearing my loft I found a black disc with a hole in it, is this a record?
If it's twenty years old it might be a Police record
Got over 500 of them black holes in the ATTIC at my house
ooh interesting,it could be part of the 'lesser spotted antique black pudding' family?a very rare find indeed.our grannys used to put them in our lofts etc to fend off bad spirits and the like.the hole in the middle has appeared due to the bad spirits being sent back to where they came from when they mistakingly thought it would be a great idea to try the lovely delicacy.either that,or its a record!!!!
it sounds like a record. wow, such a find. I found some of them in my loft too.
I`ve seen them down the car boots sales, I`ve all ways wondered what they were.
    lol
lol at the ppl who thought he meant ';record'; as in Guiness Book of World ';Records';. He meant a record disk. The old big black disks that ppl used to play music on? Like a huge CD.
nope a LP = Long Play, otherwise known as vinyl to DJ's lol
yeah may be.... unless they are big black polos :P
If your loft was on a high floor ,that would be A TALL STORY...
    so what...thanks
Yes, it could also be an alien disc.!!!
If it's approx 17.5 cm diameter, that was called a 7 inch single, if it's 25cm diameter and rather heavy that's many years old and could be worth allot. If it's 30cm diameter they were called 12inch LP's (long Players) and contained many songs on both sides I believe the modern equivalent is called a CD. If they are vinyl singles or LP's keep them as they are making a comeback and you can boast that you have some early ones.
Yeah dude............ records! I have hundreds of them....... for djing of course lol
please, please, PLEEEEASE spare me.....Do NOT answer him..he must not be encouraged with these Christmas cracker jokes..I promise you all he can spin them forever....now you realy have been warned.
    lol it sounds like one.

    scary

    what was the song lol

    maria.p
I dont think it will qualify for the Guiness Book.
Unfortunately this is not a record....A record is the best performance in a certain discipline, usually a sports event. You finding a black disc with a hole in it, therefore, is not considered a record....good try though!!

When you check the public records normally it says possible family members, it probably means nothing at all, it's probably just a mistake. Contact the company that you got your public records from and see if they can help you. If not, ask someone in your family if they ever heard of her.Serious question to me. i reviewed my own public record. family members cleared, all but 1. who is she?

How do i get clear sound out of my home recording setup?

i recently purchased sony acid music studio and installed it on my HP pavillion desktop PC but still when i record my songs (Rock guitar, bass, vocals) the sound comes out fuzzy and unclear. I'm using a standard headphone jack from my amp directly to the microfone input on the sound card. Is it possible that if i use the USB port that i will get better sound or do i need a new soundcard?? Please Help, i am a musician and i'm looking to get my music out there. It would be very appreciated. ThanksHow do i get clear sound out of my home recording setup?
The headphone output from your amp has a higher level out than the mic input on your sound card can take. Does your sound card have either a line in or aux in connector? If so, plug into that. If not, use a USB connection to get around the level problem. How do i get clear sound out of my home recording setup?

What you need is called a ';USB audio interface';. This is made for what you are doing.

Can my juvenile record still be cleared ?

I was arrested 2 times (innocent on both). Both times i was released early because there was not enough evidence. The 2nd time i was arrested i had 20+ counts of felony, ranging from conspiracy to kidnapping. The charges were pretty serious but what really happened was not as serious as the charges claim.

Before i turned 18 i went to the juvenile hall and did all the paper work to clear my case. I was told that i would receive a letter when it's completed. Months passed and nothing happened. I went back 3 more times after i turned 18 to present day and they said they are waiting for the court (whatever that means).

I am 19 now and still there is no notification. Why is it taking so long? Will my record me cleared?

This is California btwCan my juvenile record still be cleared ?
well, if both charges were dropped, then you probably wont have that bad of a record. your record could possibly show that the charges were brought against you, but my guess would be that if you keep your nose clean and stay out of trouble, those charges will eventually fade. Can my juvenile record still be cleared ?
At this point it does not matter. Your juvenile record can only be seen by the court. But since you are now an adult it is a very low priority for the judge. it is probably at the bottom of his in box or mixed up with another set of papers.

Well he could be hiding something or lying, but then again he could just want to do this on his own and in that case I think you should allow him so. He might be enbarrassed by something they say in court or maybe some tiny details he think might damage his reputation with you.

Leave him alone and drop it.
He just wants to clear it off on his own. He wants to have some alone time. Just sometimes theres some things people want to do alone and not have anyone with them for it. It's nothing against you.

I would like to watch Spiderman 1 again and I was surprised that my player would not read the disc. After close examination, I found out that the underside of the disc turned from gold to clear plastic. My daughter told me that two of my other discs also turned this way (The Notebook and Frida) How did this happen? How can I prevent my other discs from suffering the same fate. Help!Three of my DVDs lost their gold-colored recorded surface and turned into clear plastic. How is this? ?
From the sound of it, you played the discs till they couldn't be played no more. My mom told me of a story where the same thing happened to one of her friends when their kids were watching Finding Nemo. I don't know if its preventable, but if your discs are like that, you would need to purchase a new movie.Three of my DVDs lost their gold-colored recorded surface and turned into clear plastic. How is this? ?
If these were factory discs, I'd take them back if I could find the receipt. There's no reason a disc shouldn't last forever. The information in a factory disc is actually pressed into the disc, it's not burned. The label covers the information and helps protect it. Since the information is actually in the disc and not in the coating, it should still be there. You could try coating the disc with something that won't harm the plastic and see if it can be read.

It sounds like you just wore out those discs. I've never actually heard of that happening. It might be a good idea to get you're DVD player looked at because it seems to be causing unusual wear on the discs. Of course, if there is something wrong with the player, it will probably cost less to replace than to fix.

Is my record gonna get cleared?

i recently applied for some voluntary work. they did a CRB check. i didn't go 4 the training cz it were clashing with other things. anyway they sent me a copy of the CRB thing n its said on it about a warning and a reprimand i got when i were at school, they were just petty school girl fights, but wtf. is this gonna get cleared? its proper upset me will it affect my future? Is my record gonna get cleared?
ya these are not criminal records. They shouldn't affect employment. These usually stay on your crb for 5 years then they will vanish so long as you don't get into any more trouble. Write a letter and send it with your crb to future employers stating it was a silly mistake on your part. A Reprimand is not a conviction. Dont worry!!Is my record gonna get cleared?
afraid it will always be there. however just be honest about it if you ever go for a job and get a CRB check. I have a warning for the same thing and when i went to do my nursing training they told me it was ok coz id told them in the first place. and it happened when i was very young. Also sometime companies are only looking for very serious crimes and they will look at circumstances to such as what kind of work you are looking for from them.
It will prob get cleared when you are 18 as of now just explain to them what happened and go to the training next time.

And check your grammer next time.

  • How do i go about clearing my driving/criminal record?

i check a public website and it showed traffic violations that are supposed to be erased after 3 years. also, i've had a couple misdemeanors and a felony, they were dropped in court.

for example, i was charged with poss of alcohol. they found an unopened warm beer can lost in the trunk of my moms car. as you can tell that isn't my fault.

also, they found drugs in my friends purse that i was unaware of, but they decided to charge me with it because it was in my car.

anyways, these charges can still be found and they don't even say whether i was convicted or not. how do i go about clearing these off my record? i feel like i've lost several job opportunities because of this.

any advice? preferably going about this without a lawyer? How do i go about clearing my driving/criminal record?
Are you a minor? Your juvenile record should be expunged once you turn 18.

If, however, you're not a minor, this information will remain on your criminal record for the rest of your life.

It's not my place to judge what you've done or the decisions that got you there. Don't let anybody else (including people on this website) tell you otherwise.

The fact is that if you're being 100% honest with your question, you're an unfortunate victim of circumstance. Your chance to argue about your friend's drugs or your mom's alcohol occurred at trial and it sounds like it didn't go so well for you.

Something else to bear in mind: most employers will not discriminate against you for having misdemeanors on your record unless it directly applies to the position for which you're applying. If, for example, you worked in a restaurant that served alcohol, you might be turned down.

Being accused of a felony offense, however, is a different matter. Even though you weren't convicted, a cursory criminal background check will most likely make things a little more complicated when finding gainful employment, but not impossible.

Finally, to answer your question, you won't be able to make changes to your criminal record, even with a lawyer, unless there is sufficient evidence to reverse a judge's decision. How do i go about clearing my driving/criminal record?
In theory the first thing you should do is get a certificate from concern agency that says this charges has been dropped or exceed the limit of it's appearance on public database. In theory they will still keep your record even if it finish the 3 year limit but they will need a court order to access this information. Once you get this certification you file a complain then if nothing happen after their target date you file another complain then if nothing happens you go to the agency that look after agency who oversee the operation of the concern agency if nothing happen you get a lawyer and file a charge on ombudsman. Ombudsman is a department specifically task to check the government from time to time. It's a court for Goverment employee and it's branches.
    A. Please, you insult us when you claim there were drugs found in your purse that you didn't know about. Everyone who drugs in the purse says ';how'd that get in there?'; Don't insult us if you want answers from educated people.

    B. The only way to get arrests off your forever record is with a lawyer. Even if you weren't convicted, it will still show up on your record when you're pulled over. I have a thing on my record that I had nothing to do with and was never convicted off 20 years ago but everytime I get pulled over the cop asks me about it.

    C. If there is a traffic ticket on your record past three years it's either a reckless driving (5 years) or DUI (7 years). Otherwise it's not three years yet. Moving violations are off your public record after three years.

You lost job opportunities because you did dumb stuff, not because of bad luck or other people's actions. I wish more people would realize the consequences of carrying drugs in their purse or doing drugs in the long run, as I'm sure you can attest to.

How can i clear my name from traffic ticket records or anything i did not do?

my boyfriend is (excuse my lang.) ******* me up by driving my car and giving me tickets and who knows what else. he told me he switch the tickets from my name (because it was my car he was driving) to his name. since i have no clue how all this work (i never gotten myself a ticket) i believed him. now a few months later i get a $661 bail and a notice of a failure to appear in court under my name. my bf didnt care of course so now im leaving him. how can i clear my name from everything my boyfriend did. i know my bf did paid one ticket he said he ';switched'; to his name but now i know he didnt switched it and now its in my records how can i clear that one? i dont care that its paid i want it to his records not mine. i never got myself tickets i dont know any of this stuff just please help me and tell me how to clear it up for me.How can i clear my name from traffic ticket records or anything i did not do?
The tickets come back to the owner of the car, not the driver, so try to get him to go with you to the Clerk of Courts and see if they will change things over in his name. You can talk with an attorney and see if there is any way but that could get costly.

There probably isn't much you can do because YOU are responsible for who drives your car so they may tell you there isn't anything you can do.

You might also take him to Civil Court and sue him and when you fill out your request, state you want to be reimbursed for the cost of the tickets, the court costs and that you want all the tickets transferred to his name. If they find in your favor, you have everything covered in your lawsuit when you file. Be sure you document every thing you can and keep all original copies of any paperwork involved in all this.

Sounds like you had a real jerk of a bf. I'd be very careful in the future about who I let drive my vehicle. How can i clear my name from traffic ticket records or anything i did not do?
My opinion you should never lend anyone the car because your liable for any damages of tickets that are accumulated with your property. You need to find out by the County Clerk what else is pending under your name, do not rely on your boyfriend's word of mouth because he doesn't seem reliable. Never trust anyone else with your property. You need to say no to people and not be too generous with your car. If you have any points under your name you can take a AAA Driver Improvement Program so you can get a reducation of insurance of 10% each year for 3 years.
I'm guessing these are parking tickets if they somehow are in your name when he was driving. The only thing you can do is pay the fines and try to sue him for the money you spent; however, I don't know how you would prove that he was driving the car at the time and not you. In the future, do not let anyone drive your car unless you are in it. Even then, I wouldn't let anyone drive my car unless it was my husband.
Given how much surveillance there is everywhere nowadays, cameras etc, you could ask the police to go through the camera recordings from the areas (cities) where your boyfriend has been with the car, at the times when he may have been there. Maybe they can find some evidence that he has actually been there and that you have not.

If i have an old dui like 20 years ago do i need to clear it out from my records?

You can if your state has something like California does.

    What is a DUI Expungement?

A DUI expungement is a legal process that petitions the Court to review a DUI-related conviction to determine:

    If the term of probation was successfully completed %26amp; concluded;

    That all fines, restitution and reimbursement ordered by the court have been paid and everything ordered by the court was completed in a timely manner;

    That the petitioner is not now on probation for another offense;

    That the petitioner has no new pending cases;

The Court then may allow the petitioner to withdraw his or plea or finding of guilt or no contest, and thereafter orders the case dismissed.

    How does this help me?

Expungement law (Penal Code Section 1203.4) provides in part:

';[Petitioner shall]...be permitted by the court to withdraw his or her plea of guilty or plea of nolo contendere and enterIf i have an old dui like 20 years ago do i need to clear it out from my records?
It's there forever. However, most agencies that are going to check your driving record only go back 10 years.

Something that happened 20 years ago can be dismissed as a one time stupid mistake.

A lot of states have two driving abstracts. One for insurance purposes and one for criminal purposes. Only the government has access to he latter. If a private agency runs your driving record, they'll get the one for insurance purposes. It's possible to have it concealed that way, but it would have had to be done initially and you'd be aware of it, because your lawyer would have told you.

I live in Cartersville, GA. how long does it take to get my criminal record cleared?

Talk to the county clerk's office.

Soounds like felony territory; might not be able to get it expungedI live in Cartersville, GA. how long does it take to get my criminal record cleared?
GA does not expunge felony convictions at present. If your arrest did not result in a conviction then you may be able to apply to have the arrest record expunged.

If you were convicted of a felony in GA, your only hope is to apply for a pardon. For this, you must finish serving your sentence and wait five years to apply. During that five years, you cannot have committed any crimes. You cannot have any unpaid fines or have other charges awaiting against you. You can get the application from the Parole Board.
A long time probably a few years.

I recently had a citation deffered, but is the citation truly going to be completely cleared of my record?

Yes, as long as you do not have another traffic infraction in another 6 months.

Is there Any way for me to get my driving record cleared?

In march of 2007 I was pulled over for a dui. I was 19 then. The cop told me if I blew below a .08 BAC he would let me walk home, they would park my car for and let me walk even though I am only 19. That sounded like a deal to me so I took the breathalyzer and blew a .06 needless to say they took me to jail after I was hit in the head several times with a box and the same guys that arrested me had the nerve to say that they were losing their buzz when they were talking to other cops right in front of me, ON DUTY LOSING THEIR BUZZ!!! I lost my job, my license, and alot of respect for cops and attorneys in California because of all this. I tried to fight it and wasted $2500 to get the same thing a public defender could have got me, a wet reckless instead of a dui and one year suspension on my license. All that is in the past now I have my license back and have paid everything off and even though this happened a year and a half ago I'm still paying the consequences. I still have not been able to find a decent job since this happened because they ALL do a background check and find that wet reckless. I cant wait for 10 years for this to come off my record so I can move on with my life. I have a 7 month old son that I have to take care of by myself and it is very difficult. If there is anyway to get this off my driving record now please tell me how. Someone PLEASE HELP ME.Is there Any way for me to get my driving record cleared?
You are not going to like this answer ... but here it is.

The chances of you clearing this off your record are slim and none. It would take a pardon by the governor to accomplish, and the fact that your conviction is making life difficult for you will not be enough.

The offense happened one year ago, seriously ... there is no chance of getting a pardon. Unfortunately sometimes the decisions we make have long term consequences that are a real pain!

How do i get my baddriving record cleared for a job?

okay, i just graduated with a Bachelor's in Social Work and want a governement job, they have the best pay and benefits, etc...however I had a lead foot in the past and have a 3 page long driving record with tons of seeding tickets and probably 4 or 5 liscense suspencions and revocations. I screwed up and now I cant get a job i want that requires a good driving record. There has to be something I can do to exponge this....I mean, these are speeding tickets NOT felonies for f's sake!!! Anyone have any ideas? How do i get my baddriving record cleared for a job?
IN SOME STATES THEY DROP OFF IN 3 OR 5 YEARS. YOU CAN TRY TO SEE IF YOU CAN FIND A DESK JOB WITH NO DRIVING.YOU CAN USE YOUR OWN CAR AND MAYBE SIGN A WAVIER STATING THE COMPANY IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS YOU ARE IN WHILE WORKING.How do i get my baddriving record cleared for a job?
A driving record like that is essentially impossible to get cleared. People who require a good driving record for a job are serious about it. If you manage to hide a bad record and are found out, you will be fired on the spot.

You will have to be very good from now on and get no more tickets for at least 10 years to get your record half way back to normal.

I am afraid that you need to look for a strictly office job that does NOT involve using a vehicle.

And try to learn a little patience. Driving with a lead foot wastes gas, wears out your car and in city driving, you do not get there much faster.

I had my criminal record cleared when I turned 18? Do fingerprints apply?

I was arrested when I was 17, and I had my record cleared when I was 18 so no jobs could see my background/arrest. I can not remember if they took my fingerprints at the Youth Center I stayed at. I remember a mugshot, so I probably had fingerprints done as well. When my record is cleared, does that mean my fingerprints are cleared too? I realize if I was over 18 my record could not be cleared, but I was 17 and I lucked out. I know as a fact my background check is good, and nothing shows up.. but this job requires me to be fingerprinted too. I'd assume yes, fingerprints were cleared too, and I'll now be starting from scratch?

I live in Nebraska, if that changes anything.I had my criminal record cleared when I turned 18? Do fingerprints apply?
Your fingerprints stay the same when you turn 18. They will remain in the system. If you commit another crime, and they find fingerprints, you will turn up in a search. It has nothing to do with employment or background checks. Storing fingerprints/DNA information is about catching criminals.I had my criminal record cleared when I turned 18? Do fingerprints apply?
No, they will keep the fingerprints, mugshots, any DNA collected. The only thing they clean is your record on your background check normally. However, if you were to do something else illegal, the records are sealed and they can't say in court that when you were 17 you did this, this, and that.
Sorry but just because job employers cant see it doesnt mean that the police forgot, ALL of your records are stored and you are officially ';in the system.'; Your fingerprints cannot be thrown away because they are automatically thrown into a computer program called AFIS (Automatic FIngerprint Identification System), they are there literally for as long as the system exists, even after your death. It is highly unlikely though that your employer has access to AFIS, they are probably taking your prints for security reasons, for example people who work with children are all printed just incase one of them does something and runs off with his prints they can definately identify him, just incase he gave a false identity, but your criminal past, as far as the police and federal government is concerned, never disapears.
I'm not sure of what exactly the status of your record is so I can't tell you definitively what information is public. From what I've read, unless your record has been completely expunged, some information may still come up depending on the thoroughness of your employer's background check. On the topic of fingerprints, chances are those have been kept within a law enforcement database but I don't know whether or not those are available to the public.

I linked my sources so hopefully you can find out what information directly applies to your case. Hopefully that kinda helped!

I want to make my question clear...when I resume recording after stopping a new file is created?

Is it possible to pause and continue recording and only single file is generatedI want to make my question clear...when I resume recording after stopping a new file is created?
It is common for separate files to be created for each scene recorded with HDD camcorders. This feature is convenient for post-production, as you can easily pick the takes you want when editing together your final production.

Some HDD camcorders will have a pause or standby button as well as the normal start/stop recording button. If you use this pause button instead of the start/stop button, you can continue recording to the same digital file instead of having the camera create a separate file. Not all HDD camcorders have this feature. I would check your user manual to see if your particular camcorder has this ability.

Does my record get cleared when I turn 18? NJ?

4 years ago, I got involved with a group of the wrong kids. They went car-hopping (opening door handles and basically stealing stuff). They didn't take much, but we were all arrested. Because I was only walking with them and was not actually participating in the act, I had my charges dropped, while some of the others were charged.

When my charges are dropped, does that mean I did not receive a misdemeanor of felony conviction? Have I actually committed a crime then? Do they have a record of my arrest? Will this record, if it exists, be cleared when I turn 18? I'm a bit clueless about it. Any information will help.

Thanks all.Does my record get cleared when I turn 18? NJ?
Because the charges were dropped, you do not have a record of conviction and you probably will never have to admit to having been arrested because the charges were dropped.

A girl I know who is 24 at the moment had been wrongfully arrested when she was 17 years old for shoplifting but she was let go instead of being place in a jail cell and no criminal charges were filed because the store videotape indicated that she didn't do the crime at all.

She once wrote about her wrongful arrest on a job application but she was told by her family that she did not ever have to do this because she never got convicted of any crime.Does my record get cleared when I turn 18? NJ?
Juvenile charges(records)generally are sealed. However they are accessible to certain agencies. More agencies are able to get to them these days. A court order can also access them. If the charges were dropped then you were not convicted of those charges. You do however have an arrest record(sealed) if you were processed (photos, finger printed and paperwork completed). Most employers do not inquire about this,UNLESS they are an agency that can get to the records. Go to your state statutes on-line and research in the CRIMINAL Records statutes and see what you learn(some states do destroy the juvenile records). I think that if you were to try to get a job with one of those agencies, ie, Police Dept.(that inquire about JUVENILE RECORDS), you better be honest(unless your state destroys thier juvenile records). If the question is(from private sector employer) ';have you been arrested or convicted of a crime'; which is what most of them ask, then your answer is ';no';(except for possibly agencies listed in your state that have access to the juvenile records)ie,health employers, schools etc. in some states. You may see about an expungement of that record incident(lawyer involved). Obviously the Police or Prosecutor felt that there was not enough ';probable cause'; to proceed with (your) case. I would really research this because I had a friend at the Sherffs Dept. basically tell on himself when he applied to the police academy(for a minor in possession of alcohol charge), only to find out later that he did not have to put that on his application. His arrest(affirmation) was then part of his personnel file for the rest of his career. For most folks the answer is a flat out ';no';. Only you know if you committed the crime, because as far as the state is concerned it believed (initially) that you had, but realized it lacked evidence and that is most likely why the charge (or charges) was dismissed.Dont worry too much, your not a ';real criminal'; at this point. Dont even try that kind of stuff after 18! You are fair game then. Hope this helped.
im so sorry but i think it will be on your papers or whatever forever

I have recently been cleaning up my own credit and yes it is possible. you need to contact the credit bureau and appeal it. I did it online thrue the credit report.com I had to pay for my report but then i was able to see exactly what was holding me back. I made appeals and it is soooo easy, mine was medical stuff and I said i was ill and they took it completely off my credit. mine were pretty old though, but it allowed me to maintain and pay stuff i did not even know was there. and now i have a good score because of a small secured bank loan now i own a house.. good luck, hope I helped youHow can i clear an eviction off my records?
Pay your damn bills. How can i clear an eviction off my records?
If they didn't report it to a credit reporting company it will not be on your record if they did it will take seven years for it to be off of your credit report

My collection record was deleted by the agency today (they were wrong), how long till it clears on my history?

The collections agent said she deleted it. However I pulled my report just now and it is still on there. My collection record was deleted by the agency today (they were wrong), how long till it clears on my history?
I believe that if it was a mistake that you had a collection record, that you will get an amended 'credit report' and it will be deleted immediately.

You may have to call the credit agency and contest it.

I had something on my credit report that I never even knew about. I contested it and within a few weeks it was gone.

Might take a few phone calls to the credit report companies and the collections agent, but where there is a will there is a way.

make sure you ask for an amended Report for your records when it is all said and done.My collection record was deleted by the agency today (they were wrong), how long till it clears on my history?
I disagree that it has to stay on for 7 years if they were the ones that made the mistake. I would get something in writing saying that it is being removed from your credit report. This is good to keep for future reference, but also if you're applying for a loan in the next few weeks or months in case it lingers on your report in some form.

Most likely you won't see your credit report corrected until after the first of next month. Most banks, creditors, and collections agencies only report to the crediting agencies (Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian) once a month, usually at the end of the month. So you might not see it corrected until that happens.
It probably won't immediately be removed from your credit history automatically. You may need to have the credit reporting companies (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) contact the collections agency to informing them that the dispute has been resolved and the negative information should be removed. They will contact the collections agency and request verification, and the collections agency must respond within 30 days.
It will take a few days, however if you are trying to get a loan at the present time, and you have a written letter from the collection agency stating that the collection record was an error, you can do what they call a ';rapid re-score.'; You will need to provide this letter to all 3 major credit reporting agencies (Trans-Union, Equifax and Experion) and you will typically have to pay $15 to each of them to do the re-score. Even with a rapid re-score it will take a few days for the error to be corrected.
It will take 7 years unless YOU do something to clear it up yourself. But YOU are the one who has to do it.
Never believe a collection agent. Just because he tells you it's being removed you can not believe it.

If you have a letter from the collection agent, mail it, a letter of dispute, and a copy of your credit report showing the listing is still on your report.

If it's not removed within 30 days you now have grounds to sue for $1000.
It depends on how often the collection agency updates with the credit bureaus. Some update weekly others monthly. You should be able to check your credit report 90 days after the collection agency updates.

Bear in mind, the credit bureaus deal with millions of accounts daily - it takes time to update.

You can contact the credit bureau directly now and request they do an inquiry to verify the balance closed, BUT that can actually cause it to show as disputed on your credit after the collection agency does their update. Personally, I wouldn't contact the credit bureaus until after 120 days. (ps double check transunion - i see lots of errors from their reports through my company).

Did you ask how often the collection agency updates with the credit bureaus?

Did you ask for a dispute deletion letter. They don't have to give you one, but some agencies make them available to you.

I really recommend that you educate yourself about credit and collection matters. You can find innumerable websites regarding FDCPA and FCRA and you can find a weath of information at:

    http://www.transunion.com/

    http://www.experian.com/

    http://www.equifax.com/cs/Satellite?page鈥?/a>

I really don't recommend you rely on the accuracy of random strangers to educate you in these serious matters.

Is This Thing Ive Done In High School Will It be Cleared Off My Record?

Ok let me give you an explanation what i did when i was in high school. on a sunday i prank called my middle school teachers right i told one of them that i was getting raped right,it was a prank call. So the officer of the middle school traced my phone number so he got me in high school. Therefore i had to write apology letters to all those middle school teachers i prank called. This is the ONLY type of crime i've committed basically even though it's not that major. So my question is will this stay in my records that i've done this or will this thing be cleared off my record? Is This Thing Ive Done In High School Will It be Cleared Off My Record?
This may work differently in your area, but where I live, your basic school records, including disciplinary items, remain at the high school for a few years after graduation then are sent to a central records storage facility. While in high school, the staff has access to the records, and can read whatever is in them, but my experience is that unless you cause more problems, they don't have time to sit and read through every single file they have in the records room.

Your records from high school and below do not follow you to college and beyond (except for grades and standardized testing scores), so you really don't need to worry about it showing up at some job interview later on, unless you do something else or put it on your Facebook account of something.

While in high school, get to know your guidance counselor so that they can write you a good recommendation for college! Is This Thing Ive Done In High School Will It be Cleared Off My Record?
this will stay on your record.

try not to worry about it though and to make it become less relevant be polite to teachers and help out around school (stay after school with em and help them grade papers, clean desk, etc.)

you wanna be nice to them also so when you apply for college you can have them write you letters of reconmendation so it makes you look like a good person.

    good luck.

I got the conviction when I was 19, I am 25 now, with only minor traffic infractions since my conviction. Anyone with a real, legitimate answer would be hugely appreciated. Thank you, in advance. How can I clear a DUI off my TX driving record? Please Help!?
It should be off your record by now - usually companies only check back 5 years. I heard that soon they will be holding DUI to your ticket for 10 years, but as of now it's still 5 years. Request a MVR and see if it shows up. Other than that as far as you making it go away - it's impossible. You have no control over the laws. How can I clear a DUI off my TX driving record? Please Help!?
Nice to know I'm not the only one. ;) I got a DUI when I was 19, I'm now 24. Here in GA it's on your record for 3 years (at least mine was). Of course it's likely to be different in TX. The nature of the charges (how many, how severe) might also affect the time that it stays on your record, but I'm not for sure. Has this already presented a problem, or are you just anticipating it? I would double check to make sure it's still on your record, if you still have all the paperwork filed away I would think you'd find it there.

So really, all you can do is find out if it's still on your record. If you can find anything in writing saying it's not SUPPOSED to be there and yet it still shows up to prospective employers, you might be able to fight it, or at least make them aware of the problem. I'm no law expert though.... But good luck.

I got a $175 disorderly conduct ticket in WI for public urination. Could this be cleared/stay on my record?

I'm worried because I'm only 19 but want to be a teacher someday. Will this stay on my record? Should I go to court and try to do something about it? I don't have the money to get a lawyer and my parents absolutely CANNOT find out about this, they will be so dissapointed!! What can i do!? HELP!!!!I got a $175 disorderly conduct ticket in WI for public urination. Could this be cleared/stay on my record?
The short answer is if it's just a ticket pay the fine or if its a citation go to court and plead guilty. Then when you have money, hire a lawyer to get the ticket expunged off your record. You may still have to disclose it if you apply for a job but at least its not on your official record. Just a word to the wise if you plan on urinating out side again use caution. A lot of states will charge you with indecent exposure. Therefore you'll have to register as a sex offender.I got a $175 disorderly conduct ticket in WI for public urination. Since your considered an adult its going to be on your record unless you go to court and ask the judge to remove it which im not sure is possible unless your a minor..but i dnt think one lil ticket on your record will hold u back from being a teacher

  • How do I go about clearing 2 misdemeanors(atleast 10 yrs old) from my record in the state of GA?

Go to the judge that sentenced you and ask for your record to be expunged. How do I go about clearing 2 misdemeanors(atleast 10 yrs old) from my record in the state of GA?
    You may need a lawyer.

an acquaintence of mine is getting a DUI expunged and it is costing him $1000. The advantage is that the lawyer goes to all the hearings for him and it just goes away without any effort. You can do it on your own, but it will take some research at the library and personal appearances (time off work). The judge will be more sympathetic if you have some volunteer work under your belt as well.

There' s erroneous information my my rental history involving money, i need it removed? need clear record..

Furthermore, I have documents stating that I was not at the previous property for (8) days, but yet. being charge for (8) days of rent and this information is listed as a eviction on my rental credit record, to no avail, no one is help me from the Residential Finance Services in relations to the mortgage company which manages/owns the property. I recently went to lease a property and this erronous information came forward of which I didn't know exist until recently, (2) years later. So its predatory against me as far as I'm concerned, especially with the document evidence I have stating otherwise. Is there anyway to clean your rental history, like the general credit history reports..what people aren't aware there is a separate rental history credit report the property managers use to rate you as future tenant. I'm getting no response to the fact of trying to resolve the issue on my behalf, if there are any suggestion to this matter. I greatly appreciate the answer(s) coming forth! There' s erroneous information my my rental history involving money, i need it removed? need clear record..

Dispute it with your credit bureaus and send copies of your documentation.

When can i get my Juvenile Records Cleared up for the Marines?

I am 17 and i am wondering when can i get my Misdemeanors Sealed

I have never had a Felony in my life.

And after my Records are sealed should i mentioned them at Meps just to be on the safe side.

And what is a Secret Clearance? When can i get my Juvenile Records Cleared up for the Marines?
Every state is different. Some states allow you to seal a record at 18 some at 21 and some yet you have to wait 7 years from the offense date. Some automatically seal them and some only seal if you request it. You need to check with your court system and see what they say.

You absolutely have to tell your recruiter. All records (even if sealed or expunged) will be looked up during your security clearance background check. The reason is because issuance of a security clearance is deemed a matter of national security and there for the investigators have access to ALL records. If you do not tell your recruiter then the investigator will contact in you basic training. If you are going into a branch like the Air Force that issues everyone a security clearance and you withheld information you will more than likely be discharged if you cannot be granted a clearance. (I have personally seen this happen on more than one occasion)

A secret security clearance is just that a security clearance. You have access to information that is classified as secret as long as you meet the other criteria. There are different levels of clearance....secret, top secret, TS/SCI, etc. What you do in the military will determine what level you have.

All information is available to the public on the web. When can i get my Juvenile Records Cleared up for the Marines?
My buddy is going through this right now. He's 28 but had some felonies at 16. He learned that his record was sealed but the Army required and gave him the ability to pull it up anyway, for their paperwork. He still doesn't know if they'll let him through or not. We're praying for him.

The answer, as we have learned this week is that your record can not be sealed from the Military. Nor can your violations be expunged from your record for their benefit. That is only a civilian practice. The Military holds high standards of morality amongst their enlisted. Certain offenses can easily be waived. Since you have never had a felony, my guess is that you'll be just fine.

Whatever you do, and I know some may say otherwise, do not lie. Be upfront immediately about your record. If you're caught at any point, for any reason, there could be serious consequences that will never leave your civilian record. You can prove your moral conscience with your honesty.

As I read recently, joining the military is a privilege and not a right. Personally, as an Army wife, myself.. Of all the garbage I have paid witness to amongst soldiers who were processed without dilemma, I find it hard to respect a system that would hold a grudge against a reformed man who wants to serve his country. My husband is serving 15 months in Iraq due to a lack of deployable soldiers.

I'd like the Army to explain that to me.

As far as Secret Clearance.. It is privilege to information otherwise considered private.

    All the best to you.
i had a bunch of **** to get cleared on my record for the Guard never mind the Marines your record is NEVVVVERRRR get sealed i caught a caise when i was 15 and it was dismissed when i turned 18 and they still pulled it up..if its minor offense the Marines may or may not waive the charge it depends on the type of recruiter if not i would get your feet wet with the National Guard and u can do active first and join the active army soon as u get out AIT but still doin Guard drills every month till then....its security clearance depending out your charges and what you have on your record there's MOS'S you'll be disqualified for...i was originally supposed to be MP and even though my charges were dismissed i had a ***** just trying to look at that job i was disqualified for Air Traffic Control and security and intelligance jobs....
You *have* to tell your recruiter...so they can work on getting a waiver.....even if they ';seal'; your records...the army can still get a hold of them.....and yes if you dont tell them...you will get in serious trouble if they find out....the security clearance means that you are able to join the military (dont have any SERIOUS charges,or background, and dont have psychological issues, etc) However, due to your misdemeanors...there may be some jobs that will not be available to you.
you shouldnt have any troubles going in with a misdeameanor.

i signed up in 1995 with a misdemeanor. unless they changed the rules since then(which is quit possible)

At Meps at the moment of truth they might ask you but i doubt it. they usually just ask if you lied about anything and is everything true. Then you sign!!

Not sure bout Secret Clearance. Never heard of that.

But im pretty sure your alright with your misdemeanor!!
No such thing as a felony or misdemeanor in Juvenile court.

YOU WILL BE CAUGHT so you better tell. If you don't care about a job with clearance it doesn't matter. The FBI or DEA will find your sealed records. All records aren't sealed to the government.
You can get them cleared at the age of 21 I think. Maybe you can now! Good Luck =)

Oh this is secret clearance/ security clearance!.....http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Security_cl鈥?/a>
Talk to a recruiter about this. He/she should be able to help you and even take care of the paper work. I had a similar issue when I joined the Army. My recruiter took care of everything.
if thats all you have is a misdemeanor, you should be fine.when you turn 18 your juvy record is sealed, and no you need not mention it if you dont want to.dont know what secret clearance is.

I have a voice recording with a lot of background noise and would like to be able to amplify or at least hear the voices speaking on the recording better. Preferably a free download or a reasonably priced software program, however if there might be a service available I would consider that as well, thanks.Looking for software that can clear up a recording I have on my computer, any help?
You might want to try a program called WavePad. One of our voice talent members mentioned it. She recorded her first track in Audacity and then used WavePad to clean it up. WavePad is a free program.

  • Is This Thing Ive Done In High School Will It be Cleared Off My Record?

Ok let me give you an explanation what i did when i was in high school. on a sunday i prank called my middle school teachers right i told one of them that i was getting raped right,it was a prank call. So the officer of the middle school traced my phone number so he got me in high school. Therefore i had to write apology letters to all those middle school teachers i prank called. This is the ONLY type of crime i've committed basically even though it's not that major. So my question is will this stay in my records that i've done this or will this thing be cleared off my record? Is This Thing Ive Done In High School Will It be Cleared Off My Record?
was that suppose to be a funny joke?? i doubt this will stay outside of high school. They say colleges look at your discipline record when looking at your application but i have no idea if that's true.Is This Thing Ive Done In High School Will It be Cleared Off My Record?
If you have learned from your mistake, then you'll be fine; move on. Don't worry about your record, that's minor in comparision to the lesson.

My concern is that you may not yet understand what happens with this sort of thing. If you call a teacher, and imply there is violence (including rape), they HAVE to follow up on it. It cannot be treated as a joke. They cannot just laugh it off, by law they must follow through, or face losing their credential. Same thing with the officer, he couldn't just dismiss it - he had to trace the number. What if the person really was being raped?
Tough luck, but it's gonna stay on your record. Anything bad done in high school, or doing anyyhingvthat gets the police involved will stay on your record. You're lucky they didn't suspend you. Even a perfect gpa and perfect sat scores won't get you into college now.
itll be cleared when you turn 18
colleges will see it, it depends if the cop recorded it or not, if they did...then you're stuck with it...

Call your congress member (US House of Representatives). Their offices sometimes help constituents on this kind of thing. Don't worry about it if you voted for his/her opponent or you're a liberal and the congress member is a conservative or whatever. It's still just fine to do that.

How can I get a dismissed charge completely cleared from my record in the state of Nebraska?

Ok, so about 5 years ago, I was arrested for Possession with intent to deliver of Marijuana. It is a class 3 felony in the state of Nebraska but all of the charges were dismissed. However, it still shows that I was arrested and charged for the crime but that it was dismissed. It has just recently started to effect me in getting jobs, as I am now applying for a lot better jobs because I am older and more qualified. But I have no been hired by two employers now after they performed a background check. This happened when I was 18 years old and it's haunting me today. If anyone has any advice for me, I would appreciate it.How can I get a dismissed charge completely cleared from my record in the state of Nebraska?
You sure can! Since the charges were dismissed and you never pled guilty, you can get an expunction. It is probably the arrest that is still showing up on background searches. You also need to check to make sure an order of dismissal was filed in the matter.....See an attorney, an expunction isn't cheap, but it's darn sure worth it.....How can I get a dismissed charge completely cleared from my record in the state of Nebraska?

Too soon. You cannot get it expunged that soon after the incident. In ten years, maybe, but not now.Can i get my misdemeanor expunged and cleared from my record.?
depends on the state laws and what individual laws are allowed to be expunged, you would have to call the court that you appeared in and ask them and see what the process is to get it expunged. However just because it is expunged does not mean that military, federal agencies, and public service agencies will not have access to it. Most states will expunge records and it will not show for private companies only and military, public safety, public service, and federal agencies still have access to your prior record even though it was expunged. Check with the court and see what the state law is for expunged records, and ask your recruiter the same things, if they will have access to an expunged record.
It will depend on what state you got the Misdemeanor from. Each state has a different way of doing things. In Texas, you need to qualify with these criteria: arrested but never went to court, charges were dropped, charges were dismissed, you were found not guilty, you were no-billed by a grand jury, you won on appeal, you were pardoned by the governor and in limited cases, even if you received deferred adjudication probation.

The best person to help you with this would be a lawyer. No one knows the law better than a lawyer. They will help you with getting it expunged and they can tell you what your options are.

If you didn't have an attorney you could schedule a free consultation with an attorney and they may be able to point you in the right direction. Can i become a police officer if my record has been cleared?

it depends on the state, and what you'd done to begin with. if it was a felony or an act against an individual, then probably not. if it was a minor misdemenor (like cutting a tree branch in a state wildlife area) and you didn't get a fine or jail time or probation or anything, then i think so. contact your state. every one is different. here, we have a police officer that had committed rape at one time in his life..... screwed up.....Can i become a police officer if my record has been cleared?
What crimes does your record contain? You might as well tell us everything. Can i become a police officer if my record has been cleared?
Not likely but you might get lucky and get in somewhere.
Depends on where you are. Most places the police are more dangerous than the criminal. I think it would be a requirement to have a record even to apply.

Yes i know some of you will disagree with me. Well those of you in the so called west any way. Remember there are places on this planet other than Europe and the USA.
    I DON'T THINK SO..

How do you clear my good name from a criminal record you did not commit ?

in 1997, i was charged with a flase crime and during a polygraph exam/police interview, i was on heavy medication and no lawyer and afer 3 1/2 hrs and under duress, i told anything they wanted to hear without thinking.

i was arrested and got a court appointed lawyer and he told me to take a plea bargain of 4 years in prison with 6 years probation , because he sayed if i took it to trail, i would lose.

what can i do to clear my name because i have a written statement from the victim that this crime never happened and she was on drugs. How do you clear my good name from a criminal record you did not commit ?
Since you are saying this all happened ten years ago I'm assuming that you have already accepted this plea deal a long time ago. So I'm also assuming you served your time in prison in accordance with your plea deal. Now that you are out you are trying to clear all of this off of your criminal record is that it?

Well if I am reading your question correctly I'm sorry to say that you have very little chance of getting what you want accomplished. While it is not impossible to overturn a plea deal, it is something that is seldom done. You can try to get your plea deal reversed on the grounds of innefective council, but it is so rare that a plea deal is ever overturned that I don't think it is even worth your while.

In order to have accepeted that plea you had to have appeared before a jude and you and he should have had a discussion about the nature of the plea. (IE: whether or not you understood what you were doing, the recommended sentence, and the fact that you would be pleading guilty to a crime.) That means a judge decided that you were of sound mind and that fully understood what you were doing. Getting that ruling reversed will be nothing short of a minor miracle.

The court costs and legal fees you will likley incur even to attempt this probably makes this something you should think very hard about even undertaking. How do you clear my good name from a criminal record you did not commit ?
Get a new lawyer...you will have to fight it in court.
I would try to get a new lawyer. The court appointed are not always the best. They are usually overloaded with too many cases to take time with each case. The system is overloaded.

I didn't deny that I had a record because they asked me if I had something and I didn't want to lie in case they did find it. I told them it was from when I was a minor, but how could they have found something when the other two backrounds went fine? Why did my record show on my backround check when it came back clear from two of my current jobs?
did you receive copies of the first 2 checks?

if not how do you know nothing showed up?

just because something shows does not mean the employer would notify you...they must notify you if they MAY make a negative decision based on the report but otherwise they don't.

if you saw the first 2 and know for a fact that they did not show this mistake from your past then ...........

the reason for the difference is most likely due to the thoroughness of the companies who provided the consumer report (background check).

you did the RIGHT thing by being honest and i wish you well.

  • How do I clear old debt from six\seven years ago off my credit record?

I have old associated debt with my late husband who died 3 years ago still sitting on my credit record which is lowering my credit ratingHow do I clear old debt from six\seven years ago off my credit record?
Telephone the credit companies and explain this to them and hopefully they will be able to correct it. i ahd some debts on mine that I never owed and spoke to them and they got it sorted out.How do I clear old debt from six\seven years ago off my credit record?
It will stay on your record for 7 years. If it was his debt alone, you can dispute it. However, if it was a joint account, it will stay on your record for 7 years.
its terminal!! credit reporting agencys do not maintain records they only add to them!! You will need to write many letters in order to see any change. I suggest that you create a paper trail and then contact an attorney for the final slame dunk. Let face it, you may have your ducks in a row, but the credit agencys present you in default or slow to pay. The way its going now, in 5 years or so, the best credit score will be under 600!!
should only be there for 5 years then clears?
How to Clean Up Credit Report: Before approving your loan, your lender contacts the credit bureaus to get your credit report. Bad credit report will severely restrict your credit. In some cases, you may not even get the credit. So it is vital to get your credit report cleaned. To enable you to achieve that you have to alter your financial habits............
I dont know the answer to this but I would advise you to book an appointment with the citizens advice bureau. they are experts on this sort of thing and are free.
Dispute the trade line from all 3 credit bureaus if there. To the best of your knowledge it ';belongs to primary card holder'; At 7 years they should fall off anyway. Generally a tradeline that is that old doesn't get the attention of the creditor since it is falling off anyway and when they hear from the credit bureau they dont respond and after 30 days the trade line disappears. Sorry about your loss.
contact the companies and tell them the situation, you may have to send thema copy of the death certificate.

I have this one and it works great! What is a CHEAP and CLEAR method of recording music from my electric bass/guitar?
Check out audacity to begin with, as it's free, has many useful effects, oh, and it's FREE!

    http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

you'll probably need a converter so you can plug your guitar wire into your sound card (the blue plug on it...not the red or green!) which can be seen here: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.鈥?/a>

...turn down the volume and then slowly up!!!

...and once you get bored of that and want a live, better, cleaner, sound with lots of effects to choose from, look up VST plugins (like freeamp 3, http://frettedsynth.home.att.net/) You'll need a host program,as well to run it though, like: http://www.hermannseib.com/english/vstho鈥?/a>

    hope that helped!
Get a decent sound card and plug the amp through to your computer. That way you get top quality sound and it's dirt cheap.
Plug into your sound-in socket and use Windows Sound Recorder. Sounds rubbish but it is cheap and does work.
